Taxpayers’ Association of Finland (TAF)

The Taxpayers' Association of Finland (Veronmaksajat) is an organisation representing both individual as well as company taxpayers. With its 202 000 members, TAF is one of the greatest citizen organisations in Finland. It was established in 1947.

The Association's aim is to reduce the tax burden and related public expenditure. In addition TAF pays attention to the simple and fair application of tax law and the uses of taxes. The Association's fifteen tax lawyers can be consulted by members in tax questions.

The Association publishes magazines Taloustaito and Taloustaito Yritys. Its other publications are Verouutiset, TaxFax (a bulletin sent by e-mail) and many books about taxation and taxes.
